Natural Canadian Penny Pendant
Canadian pennies were removed from circulation in 2013 (they were last produced in 2012). Our pendants preserve their passage through our history and make great heirlooms to pass down to future generations. We polish and engrave them and then apply a perfect glass dome for protection. We then insert them in a strictly lead & nickel-free medallion (intricate, Victorian or gender-neutral) and mount them as lovely pendants. Our pieces are totally customizable. Please choose your year (1937 to 2012), type of medallion and length of chain. There is a lobster claw at the end plus a 3 inch extension chain. Please note that 1967, 1992 and 2002 have different fronts- 1967 shows a flying bird, 1992 is a commemoration and 2002 has the year on the back, so it just shows the maple leaves and the word Canada. We carry every year from 1937 to 2012. We have even older but these years will be more expensive. Please write us if you have any questions. These also come offered as keychains, in silver or in brass tones.
At the time of purchase, please choose:
-year of penny (1937 to 2012)
-type of medallion (see photo for reference)
-Length of chain (16, 18, 20 or 22 inches). We always add a 3 inch extension chain for adjustment.
These pendants will come in a gift box if picked up locally but sent in an organza bag (in padded envelope) when mailed out to save on shipping fees. Please notify us if you want them sent in a gift box.
