Description

Striking one-of-a-kind black and multicolored quilt with twelve squares. Fabrics from all around the world, many treasures from Japan, Ghana and Bali. Mixed fabrics- cotton, polyester, silk, velvet, a mosaics of textures. Very light, with a polyester batting. The backside is made of a mix of cotton and polyester. Nice on a bed or wall. This was made in the summer of 2019 on a 1961 Kenmore machine, basic model. Dimensions are 92 inches by 71 inches. All fabrics were washed and steam ironed before being used. This piece took about a month to make.
